Larry Schulte: Fibonacci
A presentation of the development of the artist's work over 50 years, particularly the inclusion of the Fibonacci Sequence
Larry Schulte is a mixed-media fiber artist who relocated to Albuquerque in 2015 after more than three decades of living and working in New York City. He holds degrees in mathematics, art, and watercolor from the University of Nebraska–Kearney, as well as a Ph.D. in the philosophy of education from the University of Kansas. Schulte has served as an administrator and instructor at Parsons School of Design and has taught at the University of Kansas and the University of Nebraska–Kearney. His work is represented in the collections of the Museum of Nebraska Art, the Library of Congress, the New York Public Library, the New-York Historical Society, and numerous private collections.
